The Chad Campbell Memorial Scholarship
The Board of Directors of Hotshots Softball of Arizona, Inc., is proud to present the Chad Campbell Memorial Scholarship in
honor of Chad, an uncle to an Arizona Hotshots player and an avid softball/sports fan.
The Chad Campbell Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a qualified recipient as further described below.
A $500.00 one-time scholarship will be awarded to the recipient that will attend any two-year, four-year college or
university and participate in women's softball demonstrating good citizenship, community service, positive attitude, hustle
and sportsmanship honoring the sport of fast-pitch softball. Awards will be paid directly to the educational institution.
Who May Apply:
A Hotshots Softball of Arizona current team member graduating in 2023;
Female Arizona residents who are undergraduate students planning to attend any two-year, four-year college or university with the intent of playing women's softball;
Applicants must enroll in a minimum 12 credit hours, their first semester of college;
Applicants must be recommended by coaches based on high character, teamwork, and motivation other team members to be better; and
Applicants must have completed at least 15 hours of documented community service within their years in high school.

Application Requirements:
A completed application;
An essay describing how softball has contributed to building your character and how have you demonstrated character with other players to build upon the Arizona Hotshots example of teamwork;
A letter of recommendation signed by a coach confirming your contribution to the organization as well as current participation on an Arizona Hotshots softball team.
